Car Seat Install Services

We don’t just install — we teach. Our CPST-certified staff walks you through proper installation and safe daily use so you can confidently reinstall your seat on your own. Appointments include hands-on instruction, safety checks, and time for questions.

Car seats purchased from Hip Baby Gear: installation is included at no charge — now and anytime in the future.
Car seats purchased elsewhere: installation is $50 per seat.

Weekday Appointments (Recommended)

• One-on-one instruction
• More time for step-by-step education
• Extra practice so you feel confident
• Best for first-time installs or complex setups

Weekend Appointments

Weekend installs are handled in a small class-style format due to higher demand. You’ll still receive certified installation support and essential safety education, but appointments move at a faster pace.

If you are picking up a stroller, you can request assembly when booking your appointment.

Pickup Appointments

Pickup appointments are for orders that do not include a car seat install. Choose this option if you are picking up a car seat, base, stroller, or other large item.

Many of these items are stored in our warehouse. Scheduling allows us to move them to the store ahead of time and have them assembled if requested.
