About Rachel Simpson:

Rachel Simpson is a Marblehead Mom of 3 breastfed children whom she has had experience traveling with (mostly in carriers) throughout the world with her husband. Rachel received her training and certification in breastfeeding when her third was four years old. She holds a degree in Psychology as well as her Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification. While raising her family, nutrition became a very important issue so she pursued further education in this with an intensive course called Heal the Mother/ Heal the Baby. She practices private consultations with a holistic approach and applies that to all situations for both mother and baby. Her passion is educating expectant parents on what are common newborn behaviors immediately following birth and the cycle of lactation. She truly believes that if women are educated prior to birth there would be less of a need to rely on a lactation consultant postpartum. She supports the whole family so that both parents feel competent to care for their new baby and provides techniques on family bonding. Rachel is 150% devoted to her family and wants you to find the inner confidence to know that you are the expert on your babies. She is a La Leche League Leader in both Salem, MA and Rome, Italy. Rachel speaks Italian and is excited to learn Spanish in the near future. Finally, Rachel's personal passion is dancing at local studios around the North Shore.
