The Mountain Buggy + One is a Fantastic Stroller

Mountain Buggy over the years has always been known for
being a highly durable all terrain stroller.
From the Urban Jungle, the Duo, the Swift, the Duet and now the + One,
the new owners of Mountain Buggy, Phil & Teds, have done a phenomenal job
in adding strollers to the Mountain Buggy line up. Its newest addition, the + One, is a force to
be reckoned with .
I played around with the Mountain Buggy + One and have
nothing but good things to say about it.
When first setting it up, as I personally hate using instructions but
have set up quite a few strollers, did not have that much of a problem. For the most part, it sets up just like the
Mountain Buggy Urban Single, but as it is sitting on the same frame, it
should. It has 12 inch air filled
wheels, so it can handle all the bounces the terrain provides. Once in the single mode, it is a solid single
stroller and will hold up to 75 lbs for a single child. I like the fact that it also comes with a
bassinet that you can use for an infant from day one as well.
As your family gets older, a simple conversion changes the
stroller to an inline double. This is
where I have to admit that I had to use the instruction manual just a little,
but it was my first time, so I guess that is acceptable. However, it was still very easy to set up
the second seat. Just add the second
seat insert into the back of the stroller (and be sure that all the ties are in
correctly), unzip the foot rest on the bottom of the stroller, and you are all
set to go. Took me an additional 10
minutes to figure out, but now that I know, the stroller can be easily
converted much faster. For 2 kids, the
stroller will hold up to 80 lbs, less than the Mountain Buggy Duo, but you can easily
maneuver between the narrow spots much easier.
The Mountain Buggy + One also has a expandable canopy that
allows both seats to be covered also allowing for good ventilation. I actually did a test with my 5 year old
daughter and her 6 year old friend, and while this funny pair were both a
little too big (size wise) to be using the stroller, we took a cruz to get some
lunch and they had a great time.
What I
found is that even with about 95 to 100 lbs of girls in the stroller, it was still
very easy to push, to turn, to go up a step, and just to overall get around. But as the weight limit for this stroller technically holds up to 80 pounds, we do not recommend overloading the stroller.
Also now with the optional attachment of the Mountain Buggy
Freerider, you could actually push 3 kids around if you needed to. Priced at $649.99, it is the perfect
investment for the new parents looking to make one investment that will last
them, the parents looking to expand their family, or those that want a solid
inline all terrain double, the only one of its kind. My hats off to you Mountain Buggy, as this is
one of the best strollers I have seen on the market yet. You can purchase the Mountain Buggy + One and all Mountain Buggy Strollers and
